Education for Ministry is a program of theological education through the School of Theology of the University of the South. This four year program includes study of the Bible, Church History and Theology. Seminar participants sign on for a year at a time and in the two and a half hour weekly seminar (September - May) study the academic material and create a community for theological reflection on life and discernment of ministry.
Confirmation Class not only prepares young people to renew their baptismal vows as adults, but prepares adults to be members of the Episcopal Church. Adult forums teach the basics of Episcopal Church history and organization, theology and Scripture. Typically held in the seasons of Lent and early Easter, the three components are education, service and liturgy.
