Nursery Care is provided for infants and toddlers during the 10 am service so moms, dads and caregivers have the opportunity to focus on worship without distraction.
Sunday School
Children from preschool age through fifth grade participate in Godly Play on Sunday mornings (except first Sundays of the month). It is a Montessori-based curriculum which emphasizes faith stories from the Bible and our tradition and the experience of eucharist (a shared meal known as the 'feast,' literally "thanksgiving"). Children regularly do service projects such as preparing food baskets for hungry families at holiday times, visiting continuing care facilities, as well as regularly leading worship.
Youth Groups
Youth Groups for young people in middle school and high school meet twice a month to tackle difficult issues of teen life and to learn about their faith and their world. Service projects include the 30 Hour Famine and opportunities for summer work camp, as well as assisting the Sunday School classes.
Confirmation Class prepares young people to renew their baptismal vows as adults. Typically held in the seasons of Lent and early Easter, the three components are education, service and liturgy.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir graces our special services, including Christmas and Easter. They are the highlight of these celebrations, singing original compositions by our Music Director.
